Yea, I have a bit of an issue.
The hard drive on my laptop died. I'm not a big fan of purchasing a 2.5" hard drive for around $70-$100 for 40GB, so I found an old 80GB one. I plug the drive into another laptop to test it out, it works fine. Seems like it can load an OS. Only problem is, the #1 pin on it is missing (ground).
MY question to anyone who knows, or knows how to find out (yes I've googled for over an hour) is this: will this missing ground pin cause problems in the long run?
