The video digs back deep into the history of the videogaming industry, and how much he was in the DNA of Nintendo from a very early time. It explores his pre-Hal days, the release of the Famicom and his early rivalry with Miyamoto turned to a collaboration. There's a lot on his relationship with Hiroshi Yamauchi, and it is clear that Yamauchi saw a successor in Iwata by 1993, nearly a decade before Yamauchi retired in 2002.
