Take a look at the forecast for Southern Ontario today. Vegas hasn't seen that kind of snowfall in the last couple of centuries combined.

And today we have a high of 68.

When it comes to weather, Kentuckiana is like a box of chocolates...you never know what you're going to get.

Saskatchewan has been under a cold snap, as has much of the rest of the prairies. -35C on it's own, and downwards of -45C wind chill. Everything is awful here.

They got no water to regulate the tempurature and are wide open out there. They freeze their asses off in the winter.

They have even more of a swing in tempuratures than we do. In Ontario, it's not uncommon for a cold winter day to be -25 with wind chill (we only use Celcius up here; we firmly left the dark ages behind :-) while you regularly get hot, muggy days at 35 with humidity (and you feel like you're walking through cobwebs).

Well the 68 degrees is NOT common for us during the winter. But our winters are usually mild with the occasional major snow fall, and the summers are hot and muggy.

Saskatchewan sees some of the widest swings in temperature extremes in the world.

Can get down to -40C here without the windchill in the winter, and has reached 40C in the summer.

And Las Vegas getting snow? IT'S A GOD DAMN DESERT. That shit is messed up.

You realize you're allowed to move to more moderate climates, right? You don't have to live with that.

Canadians love to bitch about the weather a lot but it's only really a few days here and there. You can live with it no prob.

I'll put up with this weather vs. the constant threat of hurricanes, earthquakes, tornados, etc in warmer/tropical climates.

Pfft, that's all just a fallacy, nothing to really worry about. Right, Eric? :-)

I prefer the cold to the heat myself. It's in my blood though =)

I live in Virginia. We were all complaining yesterday because it was 10F (-12C). That's about as cold as we can expect it. We really don't get any regular natural disasters, and if you don't live on the coast, you can avoid the sweltering humidity during the summer.

Got in the the single digits last night. Haven't seen that in a while, especially not in Dec. I blame global warming.

That's odd, you guys are getting colder weather than here, and I am WAY further North. It's above freezing.

It's gonna be raining here this aft after we got a foot or so last night. Fucking crazy weather
