Shrin's been playing it I know... last he mentioned he loved some parts and hated others.
Yeah, the exact line was whenever I'm playing it is either TOTALLY AWESOME or TOTALLY SHITTY.
The AI is dumb but it NEEDS to be for a true RPG shooter that focuses more on the RPG than the shooter. The story is alright. I'm even into that kind of thing usually, but it just isn't screaming I NEED TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENS NEXT. I played through to the end where you have to fight multiple bosses back to back and I have never died that many times and had to reload. They wanted to give the one boss an instant kill that was TOTAL BULLSHIT. What he does is he throws a grenade (which don't one hit you) but then it gives you the 1.5 seconds you need to react... and then he throws THREE grenades (which WOULD one hit you) that almost always blow up immediately. AND he has a sniper rifle. FUCK.
Apparently the next boss is a FUCKING HELICOPTER that takes SEVEN missiles to take down.
WHAT THE FUCK kind of helicopter can take SEVEN missiles? A single motherfucking bullet can take one of those wimpy shits down. Well.. a shot in a million but you see my point.
