Current Naruto Filler Arc.

Why are you watching this crap when you have Inuyasha or even Samurai Champloo (which I still can't figure out why I like)? I just cannot figure out the Naruto appeal.

God, or pick up some classic, artistic anime like Battle Angel Alita, Akira, or Spirited Away. I never seem to see people talking about any of the arthouse anime in here, and I just don't get it...

I have watched and own all of those shows, and am a rabid fan of the Gunnm manga. However those all saw anime quite a while ago, and its hard to constantly make conversation over a show that has been out for so long, compared to something that is currently airing. InuYasha finished its run in Japan over a year ago if I remember right, and I was watching that episode by episode as it got subbed. Its not a matter of thinking the shows arent good, its a matter of how long its been sience we watched em.

I've watched both of the series already from beginning to end subbed. I still read the Inuyasha Manga every week

I have Samurai Champloo downloaded (along with Bebop) and I've already seen (and own) all of Miyasaki's stuff, Akira, Metropolis, Perfect Blue, Evangelion, and a bunch of others. I saw Akira back in 1992 when it first came out and you (Ish) were still sucking on your momma's titty :-)Mind you, I'm only starting to scratch the surface of anime, but I've seen enough to know the difference between good and garbage.

Naruto is one of the best when it's not filler. I watch it now 'cause it's only 20 minutes a week and I want to keep up with it just so I don't have to watch it all at once. I don't post on it very often 'cause I just don't like it enough, but I'm highly anticipating when the real stuff comes back. It's like visual crack when it's running the manga, so now it's just a waiting game. Crappy Naruto is still better than the vast majority of shows.

lol fine. I'm just a sucker for his mom's singing at the 16:15 part. Has a nice calming tune.
