And interestingly enough, Michael Bay's salary, the quality of his movies, or this talk about James Cameron only being on a flat contract (and not being a stakeholder in his own movie), has absolutely nothing to do with a sales milestone.

New milestone, Avatar passed 2.5 billion, and is actually now at 2.61 billion; nearly 2.5 times more cash than Return of the King, the largest non-Cameron film.

The potential is there to cruise up to 3 billion.

Only James Cameron can exceed James Cameron =)
