That is both ridiculous and awesome at the same time.

Though, maybe you can answer this, isn't the Justice League sort of a pointless matchup? I mean, in the traditional Justice League, you have Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, the Atom, and the Flash, right?

I mean, that's an odd mix. Batman cannot fight against the same foes as Wonder Woman or Superman unless he gets into a ridiculous mech-outfit. His whole role is religated to support, and the major aspect of Batman--as a stealthy warrior of the shadows, using ninja-tactics to defeat stronger enemies, is made null by the epic power-battles that would make the League neccessary. The Atom's power, meanwhile, is just to shrink really small--his capacity to fight gargantuan foes seems limited as well. And the Flash...is the Flash.

How the hell does it all work? Especially if they tried to make a movie of it, how could that come together? Can you explain this to me, 'cause I've never understood it.

because you are an idiot. The ustice League is for power threats. it's sort of the Reactionary force. something attacks and the League defends. Batman is the brains and strategy. The way to look at Batman is that if you give him time to prepare he will win any fight against anything. he's that ingenius. Wonder Woman is the Warrior. she knows how to fight. Is strength and power but also a more commanding mind. she's more the battlefield commander trype. she'll take what batman tells her and implement it flawlessly. Superman is brute stregth. he punches shit. he doesn't really get war but you can point him in a direction and he punches and laser eyes. he listens to the others and follows their lead. While people would look at him as the leader that's because of the symbol not the mind. Flash is Recon. he does exactly that. plus punches at close to the speed of light can pack a wallop. Martian Manhunter is instant communication through Telepathy. Green Lantern is another military force. he's got a ring that can create anything......The Justice Leage really is for grade a threats. you can't go small it always has to be big.

Besides the punching of a lightning bolt (which doesn't really make sense either), that whole thing doesn't make sense. Good artwork, though.

One thing I've never understood: unless the enemy has Kryptonite, which only Luther seems to be able to find, can't Superman just take ANYTHING sent at him? Couldn't he just have had that lightning bolt for lunch? Sure Wayne is a great strategist but if you're invulnerable, who cares? I can see Flash doing recon for him since he can't do it completely by himself but that's about all the pairing Sup needs

I'm sure they've explained this away in the comics years ago to bring SOME tension to the comics but I just haven't run across it as I never read the Sup comics.

Actually, there is a lot more Kryptonite around than that. In fact, recently, Supes and Bats found out that the US government has been stockpiling it and creating a super team with the intent to take Supes out if he ever went against the US's plans. So he's vulnerable. Plus, there are too many people close to him. Just because you can't be hurt physically doesn't mean there aren't other ways to mess you up. Someone could go after Lois or Jimmy or his parents if they knew his identity.

Also, if there is a foe at the same power as Supes, he's not invulnerable there either. If he's going toe-to-toe, he needs a plan and he needs support to change the tide. That's where Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Green Lantern, and the rest come in.
