<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>That's probably 'cause they won't let her go any other way. Besides, she barely has any mental capacity at all left, it's like leaving the body alive while the brain is basically dead...</div>

Yeah, I don't think she feels anything anyway, so starving her wouldn't give her any "pain". Certainly brings up a metaphysical question to mind, though...

She doesn't even have a heartbeat (or at least they said that her heart had stopped). If that's the case, there would really be no point to keeping her alive.
Really, there's no logical reason to keep her alive, either. She cannot function in any capacity in society, so there's no point. I really hate it when people cling to beliefs that make no sense. It's not "murder" in any sense of the word. It's somebody who is being released. With the people that Kevorkian youthasied (sp!), they could still function for a time, but she doesn't even have that.</div>

Uh, she has a heartbeat, or shed be dead in a matter of seconds. Shes just a vegatable. As far as I know, shes awake, just cant do anything for herself, all she has is a feeding tube though. No life support that I know of(I could be wron

<div style='font: 10pt georgia; text-align: left; '>She had a heart attack and had severe brain damage due to it. Apparently she has no cerebral cortex(the part of the brain that separates us from the animals and makes us human), she still has the survival part of her brain(the part that tells her body to breate, pump blood, etc). They want to just remove her feeding tube and let her starve and dehydrate to death. Thats plain wrong. Yes, if I was in her position Id want to die, but not like that. But that goes into a whole argument of humane euthanasia.</div>
