Whelp, guess I need to get a 3DS now, damn you Nintendo. Hopefully they release their new revision before this comes out.

Both this game and the Phoenix Wright Professor Layton crossover game are going to be playable at TGS. I would guess that TGS or around TGS is a likely time to announce any localization plans. Professor Layton is a property which has sold millions both in Europe and North America, and Phoenix Wright has sold hundreds of thousands - it would be kind of stupid not to localize them - Capcom has had a tendency to be late with those though.

I wouldn't say they'll have any new revision until 2014, since the 3DS XL just came out.

Don't forget about the cross-over with Professor Layton. At least you'll have 2 games to get for your 3DS.

BTW, I would suggest getting the XL. I got to play with one at Comic Con. It's amazing how much bigger that is.

Shu Takumi wasn't fully involved in Ace Attorney 4 and it was the best selling in the series no? Should be ok....I'm excited still.

Well, gameplay wise it was the best, and it was strong story-wise as well and perfectly in line with the spirit of the series... Although Ace Attorney 3 was my favourite =)

Agreed. They were definitely hitting their stride just before they started ignoring Phoenix nearly completely.

This means I either need to buy a 3DS, which I don't really want to do still/yet, or borrow one just to play this game, which seems like a much more likely scenario.

Either way...I can't wait for this. I enjoyed Apollo Justice, but I missed playing as Phoenix. I hope Maya makes an appearance though. And Pearl, too!

Yes this and the other localizations for the franchise pretty much clinched the 3DS as a future purchase for me... but probably a far, far into the future purchase.

Digital only means I will wait a long time for a deal to get it or some kind of sale. I sure as shit won't get it right away.

I'm not liking Nintendo forcing me into digital downloads by severely limiting their retail releases. Kinda surprising that it's them and not $ony or Microshaft pioneering this but it does kinda make sense at the same time. I'm trying to make a point by buying their shit used but their last few releases on the 3DS are VERY difficult to find used
