  • Son of a bitch! Watch Dogs delayed

  • Because playing them is not enough, we have to bitch about them daily, too. We had a Gameplay forum, but it got replaced by GameFAQs.

Was coming out Nov 19th on PS4, and Nov 22 for Xbox One, now it's coming out Spring 2014, ffffffff. Launch just got less awesome. :(

The launch was never awesome. Pretty lame, actually.

Coulda gone to see the "inside look" no prob at the New York Comic Con, just didn't care

They're doing some ambitious online-offline crossover shit so I'm not surprised about the delay. Just another day for PC gaming :D

When I shopped around for information about this delay I found out that Tom Clancy's The Division was announced for the PC back in August. Yaaaaay.

Driveclub too (not that any of us really care).

This would be a strong launch for consoles, were most of the games not also coming to the current gen.

Still, early reports (podcasts) suggest that at the 360 version of Battlefield 4 is much inferior to PC/Next Gen. So I could totally understand somebody purchasing a new console for the best versions of these multiplatform titles (COD, AC4, BF4, NBA, etc.)

Only exclusives that looked cool to me were indies (Octodad, Transistor).

Next year!

Huh. Well, like I said: next year! I can probably play GTAV, NHL14 and the XCOM expansion well into 2014.

It is kind of odd that Transistor isn't at least coming to Xbox EARLIER than other platforms since they did that with Bastion. Or maybe they were too small of a company to even be noticed and just finished Xbox first because that's what they developed first.

Game is leaked on consoles. Pirates have nothing but bad things to say. People have also been illegally livestreaming the game, and while I haven't watched it, the stuff the watchers have to say does not make it sound worth buying :(

Shrinweck - Thread Derail King, From the Streets. :P

But yeah I've heard it's pretty generic, but then the first Assassin's Creed was pretty generic too(Even if it has the best free running after an assassination in the series). I'm still gonna pick it up, I can't rememeber the last time I played a BAD Ubisoft game, IE something I couldn't stand to finish.

I try not to start new threads as much as possible lol.. although there really isn't any excuse for the mentioning of Transistor other than technically I wasn't the first to bring it up all those months ago :P

I'm still hopeful but I'm 100% waiting to see what the reviews say, now. Especially since this is released 4 days before Wildstar head start begins, so I don't want to split my time up too much. Besides, Ubisoft launches are notoriously shit for online functionality.

Haven't encountered a single issue with the game's performance, but then my computer doesn't suck, that guy is rocking a GTX 560 and a CPU he can't even identify. Watch Dogs is a demanding ass game.

This is a chart for 1920 x 1080 on high(Not even Ultra), as you can see, his shitty card is at the bottom, and that's with a rig where everything is optimized.

Someone went into the PC version's files and found that the PC version was actually downgraded so it wouldn't look leaps and bounds better than the next gen consoles, which are basically just shitty old computers by comparison.

Makes it a beautiful game. The performance hit is negligible with some people even reporting an increase in performance. So, yeah, wow.

Meh, just more proof that consoles hold back PC gaming potential.

Someone asked me why consoles matter when it comes to PC gaming, and there's your answer. Most developers don't give a shit about PC's potential, it's a waste of time/resources to maximize for i, but once the next-gen arrives we always get a boast across the board.

People buy console games, often at full price. They download PC games or pay a fraction of the price while waiting for a Steam sale. Do you really blame them for focusing on consoles?

Nope. I just dislike that PC gamers are blind to the fact that Consoles matter is all. PC would still have PS3/360 looking games if we didn't get the Xbox One & PS4.
