No one mentioned anything after they released the second trailer to try and drum up interest with that reveal? No one have any interest in the series anymore?

They spoiled the entire movie with the 2nd trailer, was kinda stupid. Would have been a pleasant surprise to see in movies.

I'm guessing that part happens fairly early.

There seems to be this trend in blockbuster films lately, where the creators just shove a bunch of crazy stuff together and take it to absurd levels. I have yet to see this work very well - The Hobbit, Star Trek Into Darkness, and Avengers were all stupid -- just my tastes though.

Yeah, I kinda agree. But they needed a hook, it smells like a response to the "meh" reaction the original trailer, they needed to drum up interest
