Nintendo knows enough to pay attention to its game values to realize that they might have actually be better served to re-issue Xenoblade Chronicles since they already sold out every copy they made and the price its going for in the second-hand market. It's not by accident that they re-issues the Super Mario All-Stars collection and Gamestop announcing they were getting more copies of the Metroid Prime Trilogy. Since NoA published Xenoblade themselves, it wouldn't shock me if they eventually re-issued some of those as well
That being said, that should almost guarantee the new one coming here based on the success of the first. If Japan is too stupid to let them do it you can bet your ass X-Seed or Aksys will jump all over it if they're allowed to. Maybe their relationship with Sega (oddly pretty cozy now) will even see it come over under the Atlus name if a third-party is required? The execs there would have a better chance than X-Seed (ex-Square USA guys) or Aksys. But I still think it's almost a guarantee by NoA themselves
I was there on that fateful day, were you?
