  • Just saw The Others; FINALLY a movie that rejects religion!!  Loved the twist although parts were very confusing

  • Your favorite band sucks, and you have terrible taste in movies.

<div style='font: 11pt Dominion; text-align: left; '>what I meant was she was such a religious person throughout the movie...and in the end after finding out they're dead she realizes that all of this religious crap did her no good.

<div style='font: 11pt Dominion; text-align: left; '>but there was the whole thing with the husband that I have yet to make much sense out of no matter who I talk to...he comes out of the fog, reunites with his family, fights with his wife, has sex with his wife, then leaves for 'the lines' again.

As for anything else, I can't seem to remember at the moment...whereas the Sixth Sense gave you clues that you could then go back and say 'ohh yeah!' to, The Others didn't really have that. There was never really enough evidence to think they were the ones who were dead until they found out themselves; it was a Memento twist-- one you couldn't see coming. I knew there'd be a twist but I kept taking everything the wrong way (although my version woulda been cool too-- housekeepers are dead, go burn their dead pictures and they, well, die.)</div>

<div style='font: 11pt Dominion; text-align: left; '>that's why I kept on waiting for him to vanish, for her to turn around while talking to him and find him gone. Or something else odd...I thought he was a ghost until I saw the housekeeper's reaction to him showing up (which wasn't pleasant) so that threw me too; I thought his appearance was part of their plan until then since he kinda just appeared out of the fog</div>
